Joy – Reunited and it Feels so Good By Beth Cayce and Kathryn Trice
CaraVita Home Care manages Woodland Ridge, an assisted living community in Smyrna and this past week we were delighted to see all the smiles and hugs happening as families reunited. Amy Brannen the Executive Director shared “The ability for our residents to have indoor visitation with physical touch is heartwarming! This has been a long and personal journey. We are excited that our residents’ vaccination rate is over 90% and with Georgia opening up to greater community vaccinations this will help us all.”
Nothing brings a greater tear to all our eyes than everywhere we interact in communities we are witnessing hugs, touches and smiles as each day families interact up close and personally with one another. Here are a few pictures and quotes that Kathryn Trice the Activities Director at Woodland shared with us. First from Donna above, “I love you Mama. It’s great just to be able to touch.”
.
Next Cindy Allen, “I can’t believe we finally get to hug. I’ve missed this so much.” And finally watching the stroll these two made me think of the old song—Reunited and it feels so good.
