Dr. Garrett will be at Benton House of Alpharetta to discuss the new Anterior approach for hip replacement. The event begins at 6:00 p.m.

- August 15 – Wish of a Lifetime Celebration: Vilma Hofer.
Join Freedom Pointe Roswell in celebrating their resident, Vilma Hofer, who has been named a Wish of a Lifetime Recipient. Vilma was the first female solo pilot in her birth country of Slovakia and will once again feel the wind in a biplane flight adventure made possible on behalf of Brookdale Senior Living, Wish of a Lifetime, and Biplane Adventures, Inc. - August 17 – Aloha to Aging – Live Art and Silent Auction.

- August 22 – Milton Senior Center Grand Opening.
Senior Services North Fulton and the City of Milton will hold a grand opening ribbon cutting at 11:00 a.m. for the Milton Senior Center at Community of Christ Church, 3315 Francis Road in Milton. Mayor Joe Lockwood and the Milton City Council will be joined by Liz Hausmann and volunteers to welcome the new center.

Visit with other caregivers and undertake a video session from the best selling book. Session begins at 6:00 p.m. at Benton House of Alpharetta.
- August 29 – The Virtual Dementia Tour.
Ever wondered what it’s like to have dementia? The virtual dementia tour is a ground-breaking experiential program designed to let you experience life with dementia systems, if just for a moment. - August 29 – Chambrel’s Alzheimer’s Disease Fundraiser.
As a Gold Sponsor, the ladies of CaraVita will be on hand to help spread treatment and management awareness, and to lend our hand in battling Alzheimer’s at the local level. The event is from 5-8 p.m., at 1000 Applewood Drive, Roswell, GA. Admission is $15 dollars, and all proceeds benefit Alzheimer’s research and care.
