SimpleC Provides Community with Award Winning Dementia Treatment

In the August edition of Atlanta Magazine, our longstanding partner SimpleC was named an inaugural winner of Atlanta Magazine’s Groundbreaker Award. The SimpleC program is a drug-free treatment plan that helps individuals with mild cognitive impairment and dementia with daily living by providing structured cues and reminders from their past.

CaraVita Home Care is a proud partner of SimpleC, and our senior care programs can often include the SimpleC exercises and methodologies to treat dementia-related concerns. Simple C has been shown to reduce anxiety, verbal and physical aggression, inappropriate sexual behavior, resistance to care, sleep disturbances and even the need for sleep drugs and antibiotics.

Working with the individuals who developed this program has been inspirational. The program adapts so easily to the daily schedules of those we care for, and it teaches our staff how to use old memories to engage residents with mild cognitive impairment and dementia. Seeing the faces of our clients using SimpleC technology to share with us their Life History is one of pure joy.
