Consider the many beautiful qualities and expressions of love:
We can place our attention on our heart to allow the direct experience of love by sensing how these qualities feel:
As a meditative exercise sit comfortably, close your eyes.
Bring your breath to your body, gently breathing in and breathing out.
As you place your attention on your heart, ask yourself, how does it feel in my body when I’m in touch with these qualities and expressions – in the giving of love – and in pure receiving?
Stay with the feelings – Give them space.
Allow the feelings to expand in your body with every breath you take to generate a sense of Living Power – the Power to live love, to express love, and to receive love through your body.
Many of us are more comfortable with giving love, but true expression of love includes the willingness to receive it as well. This often requires trust and a sense of worthiness. Letting go of the protective barriers we’ve built from previous hurts and disappointments can lead us to the true beauty and healing potential of love.
Any belief, thought, feeling, or behavior not in accordance with this Power, is simply a false sense of reality asking to be healed and understood. The healing momentum comes when we’re sincerely engaged in a desire to Live Love – to embody the love we are and to receive it from others. It is through our sincere intention we open to divine intervention to bring light unto our darkness – receiving Grace.
When we can embrace the false senses of reality or darkness perceived in self and others, free of judgment or blame, true healing and experience of love can occur. This is where miracles happen.
In healing art practices, such as Healing Touch, the bio-energetics of the field created in the heart holding love and unconditional acceptance invites healing. The vibrational level held in the heart of the practitioner allows the recipient’s field to attune to the resonance of love. This initiates the innate self-healing mechanism which is sustained through the Unity of the Spirit.
Ephesians 4:2-3 – With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
