Annie Githuto has been with CaraVita since early 2010 and we are glad she chose to join our team! She is always eager to help and is often requested by our clients. “Annie had made this transition so much easier on my mom. We are so thankful to have found her and CaraVita.”
Annie started her career in caregiving by helping seniors in her community in Africa. She would go into their homes and help in her free time. Annie then started volunteering in the church with refugees from Sudan, Somalia and Ethiopia, and was quickly hired to build program.
She came to America in September 2001 and was told being a CNA was right up her alley. “I love learning how to care for seniors and am encouraged by their attitude. I get to help them enjoy their days.” Annie finds working with dementia patients especially special. After attending the CaraVita dementia training classes, she can see how much she can help both the patient and their family. “I just love it more and more the more I learn.”
