Charities We Embrace

Corporate charity is one of the core values of the team at CaraVita Home Care. As an organization, one of our guiding principles is to give back to the community, lend a helping hand to others les fortunate and to make the world better than we found it.

We embraced the following charities for companywide monetary, time and talent participation for 2009 - 2010:

Beauty Becomes You

Beauty Becomes You Foundation (BBYF) is a nonprofit aesthetic health initiative that embraces a holistic approach to addressing senior hygiene needs. The services provided by Beauty Becomes You™ range from hair and skin cleansing to more therapeutic interventions such as foot care for Diabetics. BBYF also provides clinicians with expert training in Geriatric Aesthetic™ health and wellbeing while engaging these professionals in a volunteer capacity.

Often seniors have skin, hair and nail concerns which are easily compromised through denial of their presence and can be exacerbated by medical conditions and lack of proper care. Beauty Becomes You Foundation offers a variety of basic hygiene programs to the senior community that will ensure their health and wellbeing.

Senior Services North Fulton

As the senior population grows, and seniors choose to stay in their homes for as long as possible, the need for access to social programs and activities, nutritious meals and transportation will also grow. Senior Services North Fulton can help seniors and their families and our growth over the years reflects this.

Providence Training Center

The Providence training center is a faith based organization that trains underprivileged men and women so they can transform their local communities with sound ethical principles for living, servant leadership, microenterprise, health promotion, HIV awareness and training, clean water, family enrichment and reconciliation. In a country plagued with poverty, HIV and tribal distrust these pastors and lay people are being trained to offer a global peace initiative by sharing their faith and God’s purpose for their lives in a manner that helps break down barriers of cultural tension and transforms lives. None of the current scholarship students has either the education or money to afford training. Our goal at the center is to develop a self-sustaining ministry that will provide a hand up for this developing country to improve the citizens of the communities they serve. We partner in this effort with Roswell United Methodist Church and the National Christian Foundation.

Mission Trips of staff and local health, microenterprise, reconciliation counseling, clean water and education volunteers are organized yearly. For more information go to our website.

Strong Tower Orphanage

This Kenya based orphanage provides care to over 30 street kids orphaned by HIV or violence. It provides basic care, life skill training and and assists children in reentering the schools after extended periods of living on the streets. This orphanage is supported by Bright Point for Children.
